Longtime Tulsa resident MARY ELLEN COONFIELD THIESSEN died Thursday. She was 80. The retired homemaker was a former employee of Oral Roberts University.
She was known on area lakes as an avid catfish and crappie fisherwoman.
She is survived by her husband, Al; three daughters, Frankie TAYLOR, Sharon STUFFLEBEAM and Marilyn DIAMOND, all of Tulsa; a brother, CHARLES KIMBRELL of Tulsa; a stepson, Al THIESSEN of Tulsa; two stepdaughters, Donna WINDSOR of Benton, Ark., and Carolyn WRIGHT of Lenexa, Kan.; 22 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Crossroads Church under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Funeral Home.
Friends are making contributions to the Crossroads Church building fund.
NOTE: Mary was the daughter of CHARLEY COLQUITT KIMBRELL and Ida Mae JACKSON,
born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Dec 20, 1917. She's the one who discovered my
grandfather's Georgia family thru Oral Roberts University...before that she
and my father knew nothing of their father's family.
The funeral services of Mrs. WILLIAM V. KIMBRELL Sr., 79, of Albany, who died Sunday, will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 pm at Kimbrell-Stern. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. KIMBRELL was a member of the First Untied Methodist Chruch; past president, chaplain delegate, legal representtive, secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She organized and was the first commander of the Albany Navy Mothers' Club; she was the first Mother's March of Dimes volunteer for polio and conducted the drive for four years; organized the Friendship Circle and worked for the Heart Fund, Easter Seal and Cancer Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. R.L. BROOKSHIER, Albany; a son, BOB KIMBRELL, Albany; a sister, Mrs. ARRIE FERGUSON, Randolph County; 13 grandchidlren and 12 great-grandchildren.

OLIN KIMBRELL, 82, of 512 Second Ave., died Friday afternoon in the Georgia Care Nursing Home in Sylvester following an illness. Mr. KIMBRELL had been making his home with his brother, W.V. KIMBRELL, Sr., for the past seven years, moving here from Washington, D.C.
He was born May 5, 1882 in Gwinnett County, son of the late D.L. and Mary Ann VENABLE KIMBRELL. He was a retired stone cutter and a member of the Methodist Church.
Besides his brother, W.V. KIMBRELL Sr., he is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for OLIN KIMBRELL will be hald at 4 pm today at the graveside in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Leonard H. Cochran, pastor of the First Methodist Church will conduct the services.
