I am in the midst of a family tree and searching for a person by the last name of GILLIAM or GILLIAND who lived in Warrenton in 1950s or 60s. The person in question was an attorney by the name of James and if not mistaken, I believe he was murdered in the '60s. I cannot find any records on this man. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Gideon Wesley (b. 1813) who married Nancy T. HICKS;
James Nicholson (1815-1859);
Mildred Jane Nicholson (b. 1818) mar. Leonard THOMAS;
Nathaniel A. Nicholson (b.1820) mar. (1)Catherine RIGGAN and (2) Betty TURNER.

John M. WILLIAMS, buried in Marshall Co., MS. has on his tombstone "born in Warren County, N.C." , Aug. 17, 1785. His wife Olive's stone says died 1861 aged 65 years. I would appreciate any information on them.

Hawkins BULLOCK, Sr. was born March 19, 1764 in Warren County, North Carolina Died November 1, 1833 in Madison County, Georgia

Married Frances Roy GORDON (b. June 8, 1772 d. July 17, 1837) on March 12, 1789.

Hawkins BULLOCK was the son of Nathaniel BULLOCK (b. Havonver Co., VA est 1738 d. Oglethorpe County, Ga) and Mary HAWKINS (b. Granville County, NC est 1746, d. 1830 Oglethorpe County, GA).

Nathaniel and Mary were married in Granville County, NC on August 12, 1760.

Mary HAWKINS was the daughter of John HAWKINS (b. Gloucester Co. Virginia ca 1720 d. 1784 Warren Co. NC) and Mary WYATT (b. Prince George County, VA ca 1725 d. aft 1774 in Warren County, NC)

Charles ELMS, b. about 1757 in Virginia? died January 6, 1757 in Mecklenburg County, NC was married in 1785 to Rebecah Withers in Warren County, NC. There were two other Elms individuals who married the same year in Warren County: Winnefret Ellms married Robert Walker on 30 Oct 1785, and James ELLUMS b: Abt. 1758 married Tanner Bennett on 21 Oct 1785. Seeking information which will provide a connection between these 3 individuals and identification of their parents.
