Richard HARRIS b.abt 1774,NC,Zachariah HARRIS, have a connection to the GILLISON family. These families intermarried a good deal in the early history of the colonies. Richard & Zachariah both were in Pendleton,SC in the 1800 census with a Gillison nearby. Also there was Claiborne Harris. What is the connection between these names?

I am seeking information on the family of my ancestor, John Williams. He and his twin, Isaac Williams, were born 18 Nov. 1811 in Warren Co., NC. At the age of 12, the family moved to Marion Co., Ala. Before 1840 they were in Itawamba Co., MS. The most likely parents for these twins seem to be Jesse Williams and wife Mary who had the following children in 1850: Dicy, Rebecca, Rhoda, Joshua, Jane, Jesse. John Williams married Prudence Patton. Isaac Williams married Frances Franks. Joshua Williams married Charlotte Dement. Jesse married Ann E. Morris. Did Jesse Williams leave any trace in Warren Co., NC?

Can anyone help me with the descendants of Frederick MABERY who married Elisabeth WATKINS in Warren Co., NC on 24 Mar 1790. I think he may have been my ggggrandfather. Frederick migrated to Wilkes Co., NC and then to Overton Co., TN. He had a son, Frederick, Jr. who married Rachel BARNES. I believe Frederick, Jr. & Rachel were the parents of Hiram MABREY/MAYBERRY of the Overton/Clay Co. areas of TN. Hiram was my ggrandfather and married five times, the fifth time to my ggrandmother Sarah Catherine BOOHER, in Clay Co., TN. Can anyone please help me with this? Sincerely, Barbara Mabrey Moss

I sincerely wish someone in the Halifax/Warren Co.NC area :probably Littleton ,could point me in the right direction to find some BROWN and BOBBIT families in the time frame of 1800 to 1825. Maybe there wasn't a huge amount of families and I could find the parents of Sterling Brown and Polly Bobbitt. Many Thanks, Lois Brown Boesch
