Seeking info. on William or James House, 1784-90 possibly one these men maybe father of MARY House who wed in 1807 John CAPPS Jr. witness was Jeramiah Lancaster. Mary House might have been of Cherokee hertiage, her daughter Elizabeth CAPPS wed in 1822 Woodard KING, son of Woody, Woodard was a 1/2 breed via his mother Hetty CHILDRESS, her parents unknown. Family lore out of Kentucky, says this couple, Woodard & Elizabeth were both part Indian. They gave their children unusual names such as: R.S.C. Butler King, Chockly King, Allen Felix M. King, Thomas J. Jefferson King, etc. Any clues or additions welcome.
